The elderly king of argos

I’m Acrisisus. The elderly king of Argos. I have a beautiful daughter named Danae. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me, but I am disappointed that she was with child and that her son planned to kill me once he reached earth. I locked Danae in a house that was built for her royalty, she dwelt weeping day after day in her subterranean prison. Zeus was looking down on hears she sat in misery in her royal prison. Danae looked up and saw a shower of gold falling above her head, she ran forward and let the gold fall, touch and caress her, Zeus announced that he was in the gold, the lord of the sky, Danae didn’t understand. Zeus told her to not be sad, and how she would bear a great son from him who would set her free. Danae grew silent and the gold continued to fall. Many months later she found herself with child. Danae kept quiet about who brought her food and kept it hid. The day she gave birth, she did it as quiet as possible, she feared that I would hear her, and so Perseus was born. She named him Perseus and told him the Zeus was his father, and how he would do great things in this world. She kept little Perseus a secret for as long as she could. Perseus grew into a golden haired toddler in the underground room. Perseus learned to play quietly and to be hidden when the guards had come up to Danaes prison, Danae gave Perseus the most and only took a little for herself. Perseus birth didn’t stay secret for long because the guards heard laughing from a little boy in Danaes palace and reported it to me. I thought to myself that the son of prophecy was born. I rushed up to Danaes prison and madly yelled at Danae, you fool, is this how you respect me, raising a child, I should shank you with my sword, Danae was in fear, she said please don’t kill my baby boy, please. I asked harlot who could the father be, Danae surrendered and told me that Zeus was the father, and I was in shock because it was impossible for anyone to reach my daughter while she was punished. I couldn’t put the boy to death as I planned, my grandson was the child of Zeus. I knew I was going to be struck down before I moved my sword from scabbard, I knew that if Perseus was to meet the accident, no one would be wiser. I made a great wooden trunk and put my daughter Danae and her son Perseus inside of it. I set the wooden chest out to sea, Poseiden who was lord of the depts. would claim his sacrifice, and he knew Zeus wishes and guided the wooden trunk safety through the turbulent waters where they would be found by fisherman folk who lived there. Dictys spotted them in the surf and decided to bring them in with the net. Dictys was surprised to see a Danae and Perseus inside of the wooden chest.   Danae and Perseus were found by kind fisherman. By dictys and his wife not having any children they took Danae and Perseus in as family. Perseus grew to be handsome with the resemble of his father shining in his eyes. Danae got very beautiful being freed from her prison.
